This was my second attempt to try this restaurant on a Saturday morning. The first time they told us we would have a three hour wait, so we naturally decided to eat elsewhere. Luckily, this time we were able to be seated within 10 minutes or less of checking in with the hostess. Highly advise you to join the online waitlist. We got around 10:30 am this time. It was busy inside the restaurant, it did take our server about 5 minutes to greet us after being seated and another 10 minutes for our ordered to be taken. If I had a complaint it would be that. Our service was excellent and the server did apologize for the wait time. He was nice and answered all the questions we had about the menu options. The menu is pretty straightforward, we originally wanted the French toast thinking it was “French toast”, but upon speaking to the waiter we were informed it was an actual waffle so slightly misleading. They have special waffles not listed on the menu, We decided to try those and got the peach pecan waffle and the strawberry shortcake waffle. They were both delicious and tasty. The Peach pecan was out of this world! Real peaches, lots of pecans, and a drizzle that didn’t require additional syrup to be used. The waffles were fluffy, and slightly crispy on the edges. The shortcake waffle had fresh strawberries and whipped cream and just as good. Please add the those specials as a permanent item to the menu, because they are worth being included. This restaurant has mastered the technique to making great waffles. We ordered chicken sausage as our side, it was good but a little overcooked but nothing to throw a fit about. I believe it was the owner who stopped at our table and greeted us and asked us how the food was, I even noticed him picking up trash. Well kept establishment. Overall I would definitely visit this restaurant and try other options that are available. The tab was 64 for the meal and one OJ. Appears to be the going price everywhere you go in ATL. Nothing is “affordable anymore”.

I enjoyed the experience overall. We came in late on a Saturday afternoon, so it wasn't too crowded. Busy, but we were seated right away. Our server LA took care of us and made some good recommendations. The chicken paired perfectly with my waffle (Peach cobbler waffle with Pecans). The half tea half lemonade combo was good, but I have had better. I am looking forward to returning and trying some of the menu offerings.

Nana's never disappoints. The best shrimp and grits I ever had bar none. The chicken and waffles come in flavors that will fit everyone in your family.

The food was EXCELLENT!!! The service was awesome as well. Very friendly environment, very courteous, and not a long wait for food. However, I recommend you make a reservation because apparently folks are talking about the goodness of the food and service.

Our family had a great time. The wait time was about an hour but it was worth it. It was a busy Sunday. The host was so pleasant and understanding. Her patience was deeply appreciated. The chicken tenders, wings, lobster, grits, and waffle were very well seasoned. Would definitely return again. Daezha was our server and she did an amazing job! Our drinks and food were on our table in a timely manner. For a party of 9....she did her thing!!! I enjoyed how attentive she was. The environment was up beat. Good old school music. Great experience. Glad I didn’t change my mind based on other peoples poor reviews .

Good food and service. The food was seasoned to perfection. Definitely join the waitlist for faster seating, as it does get packed, but it is very much worth the wait. It was so good that we actually brought an extra meal to take home.

Going to Nana's was my first time going. Even though it was a bit packed it took no time to get seated. Our waiter was nice and helpful and the food was really good. Depending on what you're getting the price is like 10 to 20 dollars per person and it's a dollar refill for your drinks.

My husband and I decided to trying something new and it was the best decision. OMG! The waffle & chicken was my favorite. The scrambled eggs & sausage were great too. I highly recommend this place. Next time we're coming here for lunch. Please try this place. We arrived early and it was a good thing because it was starting to get packed.
